Our Friends of the Poor Walk continues to grow in numbers, meaning we can serve more of our neighbors in need.    Save the date and join us so, together, we can raise awareness of our mission and generate the funds that support all that our Vincentian members do to provide assistance to those who come to St. Vincent de Paul Detroit seeking help.

2017 Friends of the Poor Walk brings largest crowd yet! 150 150 St. Vincent de Paul Detroit

The 10th Annual Friends of the Poor Walk, held on September 30th, was a huge success!   

Each year, our Walk continues to grow in the numbers of people who sponsor the event, and those who participate in joining the Walk.  The purpose of the Walk is to raise awareness of our mission and to generate helpful funds in support of all that our Vincentian volunteers do to help our ‘neighbors in need.’  We continue to tabulate the total number of participants and support received from the event, but we can report that the overwhelming consensus of all involved believes that our participation of Walkers has achieved an all-time high of more than 700 people!  Thank you to all the Walkers, volunteers and donors to this great event!  Also, thank you to our generous Presenting Sponsor Alliance Catholic Credit Union!
