St. Vincent de Paul Detroit’s 12th Annual Friends Walk
This three mile walk takes you through the beautiful paths of Belle Island State Park. Grab your friends and family, and join over 1,000 like-minded individuals committed to making a difference in the lives of our neighbors in need.
By joining the 12th annual Friends Walk, you help us provide urgent material needs, food, hot meals, utility assistance and a pathway out of poverty through our Like Skills Programs. Your support is critical to those in our community who come to us every day seeking assistance.

- 11:00 AM Food & Fun at the Finish Line

*$11 State Park Recreation Pass Required per Vehicle Entry
Last year, SVdPD made 45,000 home visits, served 38,000 meals, helped 4,468 households with their energy bills, and sent over 450 kids to camp. Overall, we served more than 300,000 neighbors in need throughout Southeast Michigan. By participating in the Friends Walk, you insure SVdPD can continue to provide the critical services so many need throughout Southeast Michigan.
