Opportunities for Everyone From assisting at our camps and stores, to participating on our advocacy committees, we offer many opportunities to volunteer.
As a volunteer with us, you'll gain critical experience that will help build your character—and resume.
Whether you're applying for colleges or a new job, volunteer work with St. Vincent de Paul is sure to impress.
Opportunities for Impact
Volunteer in Our Stores
We have an ongoing need for volunteers to help ensure that the shelves in our St. Vincent de Paul thrift stores are fully stocked and looking great for our customers!
By volunteering in one of our stores, you're helping to empower our neighbors with access to high-quality clothes, goods, and more at a price they can afford.
We have a wide range of volunteer positions available in our stores to suit any skill level. Opportunities include greeting customers, receiving incoming donations, sorting, tagging, and hanging donated items, testing electronic appliances, arranging the sales floor, and stocking products.
Volunteer at our Camps
Volunteers are an integral part of our camping program year-round. It’s rewarding knowing that every minute you spend volunteering at our camps is helping to bring fun and joy to kids that otherwise might not have the chance. Browse our opportunities to volunteer at camp below or contact us for more information.
Camp Work Day
Our 2025 Camp Work Day will take place on Saturday, May 3rd and we have LOTS of work to do. Register now!
High School Volunteers
Each week, during the summer program, we need 4 to 5 high school student volunteers to help in the kitchen (setting the tables, cleaning, etc.) and assist with the evening program. Click here to learn more or to apply to be a volunteer today.
Adult Volunteers
We also welcome adult volunteers at camp, so long as they are not a parent of a child in attendance. Many opportunities are available depending on your interest and can range from nature, performing arts, sports, cooking, and more. Click here to apply to be a volunteer today.
Camp Alumni
A vital part of who we are today is thanks to our camp alumni or, as we would like to call them, “Our Camp Family.” Whether a camper back in the day or a former staff member, you are still important to the camp program. We would like to recapture the energy and enthusiasm you still have for camp and hope that you will become involved once again. Share your camp story with us!
