Did you know it was Camp Ozanam’s 100th anniversary? Did you know that SVdP Detroit is the only Council in the USA that supports a summer camp program? This year, 303 campers enjoyed the Ozanam experience – almost 25% more campers than last year. September 15-17, 2023, we hosted an event for the 100th anniversary celebration. Almost 150 people registered to attend, and many spent the weekend reliving the camping experience. Weekend activities included slingshot & archery, lace/bracelet making, kayaking/canoeing, gaga ball, arts & crafts, story telling, s’mores, family Olympics, camp trivia, an awards ceremony, mass, and more!
