CONFERENCE CONNECTION Update from Roger Playwin - Interim CEO

Advent and the Christmas season are special times of the year for Vincentians. For sure busy times helping Neighbors in Need, so they can celebrate Christmas with dignity, hope, and some small sense of security. The litany of sadness seems to never end and seems like there is no place that is not experiencing some disaster, grief, or hurt.

Then along comes our Vincentian members, the world over — our Rule tells us that, we are “called to journey together toward holiness, to see the face of Christ in others and be the face of Christ for our Neighbors in Need.” It’s a challenge at times, but we are up to the challenge, because we know Christ will give us the strength and courage to be Him for others, not just at Christmas time, but all year.
